John's Videos on YouTube
By John Bandler
I decided to build out some videos on YouTube. Here's why:
- A lot of people need solid, reliable information on law, cyber, cybersecurity, and learning.
- Some people want it too.
- I have built out many written resources, but some people prefer to watch a video.
- I have built out online courses at Udemy, but those are entire courses, and many people just want a quick video.
- Other people have put out excellent content on YouTube that has helped me and my family learn many things, including about science, math, the world, outdoor living, and more. I have some knowledge to share also.
My videos are (will be) on:
- Law
- Cyber
- Cybersecurity
- Policies and policy work
- Learning.
My videos are simply PowerPoint lectures. Not entertainment, not edutainment, no fancy graphics or editing. I can't edit well and usually it is much quicker for me to re-record my lecture than edit it. You'll get some misspeaks and mistakes. Maybe that makes it more natural, like a regular presentation or conversation.
I plan my thoughts ahead, create a PowerPoint, refine it, then hit record, present. If it is half decent I upload the video.
