Former assistant district attorney at the Manhattan DA’s office (2002 - 2015), hired by the legendary Robert M. Morgenthau, John Bandler headed a successful pioneering prosecution of a complex cybercrime case resulting in guilty pleas and then guilty verdicts after trial. This was a ground breaking investigation and prosecution into international cybercrime trafficking of stolen data and money laundering with virtual currency and through the conventional financial system. In addition to global cybercrime, he also investigated and litigated a wide variety of cases ranging from violent street crime to identity theft and financial crime.
