Tip 1: Use 2FA (MFA)

Use two factor authentication on your email accounts and other important internet accounts.

If you don't have that in place yet, or do not know what that means, be glad you took the minute to visit this site.

Two factor authentication (also known as multifactor authentication, or two-step login) means that you need to provide (1) a password and (2) prove that you have something (such as your smartphone) in order to first gain access to an internet account.

Without 2FA, a cybercriminal anywhere in the world has a much easier time breaking into your email account (or other cloud account).
