Cyber
"Cyber" is an amorphous term, but generally means relating to digital things, to computers, the internet, and data.
Cyber is frequently paired with other words and three prominent ones are:
I have also done a lot of work in cybersecurity, cybercrime, and privacy.
Here is some information on that.
- Attorney and consultant in the areas of cybersecurity, cybercrime, privacy, and information management. Founder and principal of Bandler Law Firm PLLC and Bandler Group LLC. A law firm and a consulting practice to help with cybersecurity, cybercrime, investigations, data privacy, anti-money laundering, compliance, governance, and more (2015 - present).
- Former prosecutor of cybercrime. As an assistant district attorney at the Manhattan DA’s office (2002 - 2015) and hired by the legendary Robert M. Morgenthau, I headed a successful pioneering prosecution of a complex cybercrime case resulting in guilty pleas and then guilty verdicts after trial. This was a ground breaking investigation and prosecution into international cybercrime trafficking of stolen data and money laundering with virtual currency and through the conventional financial system.
