How to Learn, Study, Research, Take an Exam, and Write
By John Bandler
1. Introduction
This is the main landing page for my resources on learning, which includes studying, researching, exam taking, and writing.
I started teaching in 2017 and soon realized how many students could benefit from reminders and resources on the important skills of learning, studying, researching, and writing. Gradually I built those out and incorporated them into each semester's teaching.
Then I then built an online course on it at Udemy, and then I wrote a chapter on writing within my 2024 book on policies, and then I wrote a chapter on learning for my 2025 book on cyberlaw.
This is the course outline, with links to resources.
Looking for magic shortcuts? You are in the wrong place and they do not exist anyway. It will take solid effort, but you will be glad you invested it.
