Build your cybersecurity program in your firm or organization

A solid cybersecurity program prevents cybercrime, complies with laws and professional responsibilities, helps you serve clients and gives you peace of mind.
This column will be most helpful if you accept the fundamentals from my prior column, referenced below, so let's recap.
A duty of cybersecurity exists for every attorney and firm. Firms need to have a solid cybersecurity program and do their reasonable and diligent best with cybersecurity.
A cybersecurity program means there is active and ongoing management of cybersecurity, and includes these components:
- Written policy and plan;
- Cybersecurity basics;
- Management;
- Training.
